Book Review: A Generous Orthodoxy

I found this book a refreshing piece of apologetics of "Christianity rediscovered" in today's XXIth century culture, being quite successful at reframing the purpose and role of the church with our contemporaries, both Christians and "others", where the ultimate goal is to invite all people to following Jesus as part of God's kingdom, asserting the biblical revelation (thus not falling into relativism) while respecting other religions. Inviting to personal reflection on how one can live a life to impact others for Jesus, this book foremost contributor to me was to think of the church institutions overtime having "reduced" God's kingdom to Christendom, whereas God's kingdom includes all of creation, as stated by God to Abraham that all peoples of the earth would be blessed.

Ideal for Christians with knowledge of various Christian traditions (middle chapters of this book), while new Christians or people interested in Christianity will benefit also from core chapters of this book.
